Women and Girls in Science – Think Science … Think Girls … Think Global Education

Coming up on Wednesday, February 28th, Misean Cara is pleased to participate in the ‘Women and Girls in Science’ online event of the Irish Forum for Global Education.

The event will commemorate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, which was celebrated on February 11th, by providing a platform for discussing opportunities and barriers to STEM education for girls and women, sharing around lived-experiences of students, and a presentation by Misean Cara’s own Project Officer for Education, Tom Carroll.

Tom Carroll will speak on the role of Misean Cara members and the missionary approach to development in empowering vulnerable girls and women to study and join STEM fields.
